MALLS AND SHOPPING
Raleigh has no shortage of malls and shopping! Wherever you choose to live, you will be minutes from all the places you need.
Crabtree Valley Mall-- on Glenwood Ave, close to the beltline and near downtown. It boasts all the traditional stores as well as numerous great dining choices.
Triangle Town Center-- just off Capital Blvd near the near 540 outer beltline. A great place for clothing, dining, and jewelry.
Cary Town Center-- just off of Walnut St in Cary, this mall has many different stores and restaurants to suit your style
City Market-- located in the heart of downtown Raleigh near Blount and Martin St is home to art galleries, restaurants and unique specialty shops. The area is lined with cobblestone streets and is the perfect area to take a weekend stroll.
Brier Creek Commons-- near Durham off Glenwood Ave. This is not your typical mall. It has lots of common stores, but not in your typical mall surroundings. There is also a movie theater as well as a seemingly endless list of restaurants.
North Hills-- just off Six Forks Rd and the beltline in Raleigh. This newly renovated mall has it all! Outdoor shops, restaurants, movie theatre, as well as upscale condo's and office buildings. You can truly do it all here-- work, live and relax! When I moved to the area, this mall was the most run down, boring mall in the state. Now this mall is packed with new stores, parking, and dining.
